At this time, the Evansville IceMen are not hiring for any full-time positions. If you would like to be considered for future employment should any openings become available, feel free to e-mail your resumé to Bridget McDonald at BMcDonald@evansvilleicemen.com.
Internships
If you’re a college student and you’d like some real-world experience in professional sports, consider becoming an IceMen intern! IceMen interns help with office work, player appearances, game night operations, and other assorted minor tasks. Each intern helps out in a variety of areas in order to gain as much valuable experience as possible. You must be available on Friday and Saturday nights from October through April. (We don’t have home games on all Friday and Saturday nights, so this is just in general; if we don’t have a home game or a promotional appearance, the night is yours!) We do prefer that the internship count for school credit. (Policies vary by school, but you’ll likely need to be a junior or senior who can register an internship as a class.) If you are unable to register an internship for school credit, we will still be happy to work with you, but you’ll likely be considered a “volunteer” instead of an intern – which still looks great on a resumé. (See the next section for more info about volunteering.) For more information about internships, call the IceMen office at 812-435-8971 or e-mail Bridget McDonald at BMcDonald@evansvilleicemen.com.
Game-Day Volunteers
It takes a small army of dedicated volunteers to present an IceMen home game. Game-day volunteers include statisticians, ushers, ticket takers, goal judges, penalty box attendants, souvenir salespeople, promotional assistants, spotlight operators, and other assorted positions. Home games are typically on Friday and Saturday nights from October through April. So if you’re passionate about the IceMen and you want to help out on game nights (with perks that often include FREE tickets depending on your level of volunteerism), please call the IceMen office at 812-435-8971 or e-mail Bridget McDonald at BMcDonald@evansvilleicemen.com.
