How do you make a special occasion extra-special? Enjoy it at an IceMen game!

 

 

Birthdays, Anniversaries & Engagements

 

IceMen home games are fantastic for birthday/anniversary/engagement celebrations. If you would like to have your special day (or someone else’s) announced at an IceMen game, simply send an e-mail to info@evansvilleicemen.com with your information. If it’s within 24 hours of the game you’ll be attending, please just wait until game time and give us your information at the rink. Either visit the scorer’s box (between the penalty boxes) or the soundboard (at the top of the stands at center ice) during one of the intermissions and give us your info. (Please wait for an intermission – we’re quite busy during the game!) Personal announcements are made during the 3rd period, typically within the first 5 minutes.

 

 

Proposals

 

If you’re looking for a fun and unexpected way to “pop the question,” consider an IceMen home game! We can disguise your proposal as part of a fake intermission contest, so your significant other won’t suspect a thing until you’re down on one knee and asking those four big words. Please note that planning a surprise proposal requires a minimum of 7-10 days’ advance notice, and ideally longer.

 

 

Weddings

 

“A wedding at a hockey game? That’s crazy!” Perhaps, but if you’re crazy in love and crazy about the IceMen, why not? IceMen fans Brad and Tamara Perkins got married on the ice between periods on the eve of Valentine’s Day 2010. (Watch the “Wedding on Ice” ceremony here!) And if you’re looking for a super-unique way to tie the knot, you could join Brad and Tamara in the exclusive club of Maniacs who have gotten hitched during an IceMen game. Please note that this requires extensive planning and league approval (due to the necessary lengthening of an intermission), so you must initiate the planning at least 60-90 days in advance.

 

 

Military Deployments & Returns

 

If you or a loved one is about to leave for military duty or return from service, the IceMen would love to help make it a fond farewell or happy homecoming. We will gladly make a special announcement to all fans in attendance, honoring the departing/returning individual. We’ll need at least 5-7 days’ initial notice, in order to exchange information and design an announcement worthy of a true hero.
