The Evansville IceMen (20-31-5; 45) will conclude their sunshine state endeavor tonight in their second game against the Florida Everblades (28-17-10; 66) in as many nights. Last night’s first ever meeting between the teams saw Evansville prevail in a 21-round shootout, tying an ECHL record. The IceMen have won three of their last four games heading into play tonight. The Everblades’ unbeaten streak improved to five games as they were able to receive a point in the standings last night. Evansville is (1-0-0) against Florida this season.

Brief Recap: The IceMen stunned defending Kelly Cup Champions, Florida Everblades with a come from behind 21 Round Shoot Out win. IceMen newcomer Andre Bouvet-Morrissette scored the game winning goal after a ECHL Record tying 21 Round, 42 shooter shoot out.
During the 5 min 4 on 4 overtime, both teams would only get one shot on net. Neither team was able to score and sent the game to a Shoot Out. With both teams collecting a valuable point in the standings, the Shoot Out would determine who would collect the extra point.
In an ECHL record tying 21 round Shoot Out which saw 42 shooters and 5 goals scored, IceMen newcomer Andre Bouvet-Morrissette would finally score the game winner as both goalies looked unstoppable.
