EVANSVILLE, IND – The Evansville IceMen have been assigned Left Winger Wade MacLeod for the second time this season by AHL Springfield Falcons.
The 25-year-old prospect played in two games for Evansville in his first stint with the team, accounting for four points (3G, 1A) and a +3 rating in those contests.
In his IceMen debut on Dec. 17, MacLeod made franchise history, recording the first ever hat-trick at the Ford Center. MacLeod was voted the game’s first star in the 8-5 win over the Toledo Walleye.
MacLeod followed up his history-making performance by adding an assist on a goal scored by IceMen Left Winger Dylan Clarke on Dec. 18. The IceMen defeated the Cincinnati Cyclones 4-1 on that date.
The 2011-12 season was a productive one for MacLeod, playing in 66 games for the Falcons, massing 29 points (10G, 19A) and a +6 rating on the season. MacLeod has played in 6 games for the Falcons in 2012-13, collecting one assist.
